This poor little house! Its front face has been mutilated, almost all the windows bricked in. Blairmont here has a rare opportunity to truly restore a piece of lost historic fabric. Even if no records exist of the house's original configuration, a multitude of precedents surround it.

Alternately, a new, contemporary design could be put in place. So much of the original facade has been lost that it wouldn't be out of place to perform a purely contemporary intervention.

Either way, Blairmont has a host of wonderful things they can do with this house, now that they own it. By rights, the only problem should be choosing from among the several options.

There is a house under there! It's well hidden... I might have to come back after the leaves come down, assuming it survives that long.

It's a fine looking building, with a beautiful flat-arched window as the primary facade feature. Unfortunately, it's become a dumping ground in the absence of occupancy.

This one's been vacant for a long time; it had been boarded up several years when Blairmont got it. They have another building on the north side of the block as well.

The 2200 block of Sullivan has some empty lots, but much of it is built out -- both by turn-of-the-century buildings, and a group of 1960s cottages. Many of the buildings, older and newer, are owner occupied; now those owners have to live with a speculator in their midst.
