- 2710 Blair Street (VHS Partners LLC, February 2006, $35,000)
August 2008
Yet another Blairmont house backed up against the 14th Street Mall. While construction returns more and more of Old North to life (including a rehab job right next door!), Paul McKee's inaction and inertia continues to drag it down.
The house was sold in 2004, listed as "rehab after sale". The work got at least as far as restoring the upstairs dormer window. The house has a long history of inspections and violations.

Oh cool, you can see that the Mansard roof was added at a later date than the initial construction of the house.
This is a bit off topic, but check out the tour these 2 guys took of the St Louis Opera House.

My great gg grandfather lived in this house in 1860, his name was Adrien Edward Michel, the family owned the home until 1925, In the 1880 census he is listed as Edward Michel, he was born in Paris, France. My great great grandfather, John Nelson Michel lived there at the end of his life with a terminal illness. Our relatives, the St. John family lived there from time to time with the Michel's. I wish I could save this house. I am not sure what it's future will be, It makes me sad to know it may not make it, after all this time. I wish my family had never sold it.
I'm a real dork, the house was at 2510 north 15th which is now blair, that house is still there and it is mentioned in many michel family death certificates and also it is mentioned in Adrien Michel's probate will, all of which are listed on the secretary of state of missouri's website
