Even with the windows ignominiously chopped down to hold standard-sized modern replacements, there's something to this pair of Italianate buildings.
A close look shows Victorian-era incised detailing, still visible under many heavy coats of paint.
The right one is in Blairmont's hands... yet another building endangered, another spot where a vacancy threatens to become a missing tooth.
